Welcome Finance has been relentlessly harassing me, and it’s significantly impacting my life. I initially took out a loan with them some time ago, and while I’ve experienced periods where I’ve struggled to make payments, I’ve always communicated with them and made an effort to catch up. However, their collection tactics have become increasingly aggressive and, frankly, unbearable.
The primary issue is the sheer volume of calls. I receive multiple calls daily, often starting early in the morning and continuing late into the evening. Even when I answer, explain my situation, and attempt to negotiate a payment plan, the calls persist. The representatives are often rude and dismissive, making no effort to understand my circumstances. They repeat the same demands for payment without acknowledging any previous communication or attempts to resolve the debt.
Beyond the frequency of calls, the nature of the communication is also deeply troubling. They frequently threaten legal action, even though I’ve consistently expressed my willingness to work towards a solution. These threats are vague and intimidating, designed to pressure me into making payments I simply cannot afford. The constant barrage of threats creates immense stress and anxiety, making it difficult to focus on my work and maintain my mental well-being.
Furthermore, Welcome Finance is contacting my family members. I’ve made it clear that they are not authorized to discuss my loan with anyone else, but they continue to call my relatives, disclosing sensitive information about my debt. This is a blatant violation of my privacy and has caused significant embarrassment and distress for both me and my family. It’s deeply humiliating to have my financial struggles aired out to people who have nothing to do with the loan.
I’ve documented each instance of harassment, including the dates, times, and the names of the representatives I spoke with. I’ve also kept records of all my payments and communication attempts. I’ve tried to resolve this situation directly with Welcome Finance, but their collection practices remain unchanged. Their aggressive tactics are not only unethical but potentially illegal, and I’m actively exploring my options for legal recourse. This constant harassment needs to stop. It’s impacting my life negatively, and I’m seeking a resolution that respects my rights and acknowledges my good-faith efforts to address the debt.
